Feasting On Friday

Hi there! I'm back again today, rounding up all the best morsels and such I crossed paths with this week.

- A Tumblr to follow: The General Merchant

- An exciting weekend in Richmond for food — the 39th annual Richmond Greek Festival and I am happy to say I am one of the many talented judges who will be tasting all Richmond has to offer at Broad Appetit on Sunday! To get an idea of the magnitude of this event, take a look. If you happen to wander through please stop by and say hello!

- In case you didn't know, there really are only a handful of companies that are providing us with the food we eat, so this infographic may or may not be a surprise.

- I stand corrected, I thought I had created the Ultimate Bloody Mary.

- A great food storage tutorial (and giveaway) from Food in Jars.

- Did you happen to see that I am giving away this beer making kit? We are also giving away this bundle of cleaning supplies over on 17Apart. Good Luck!

- And lastly, did you catch the Richmond Food Co-op interview on Virginia Currents yesterday? If not, you can listen to the full interview here. Have you joined the Richmond Food Co-op yet?
