The Fare Field: A Video Series

I've recently become hooked on this simple but wonderful series of videos called The Fare Field. As I've shared here on the blog in the past, I became a big fan of the PBS series, A Chef's Life, and although shorter in nature, these videos really carry the same premise. Utilizing simple local ingredients makes for good cooking. No need for competitions or a fast paced environment — it's about the food and the gathering of family and friends.

Out of the 4 videos that have been posted so far, chef Matt Hinckley spoke to me the most — and next time in NYC I plan on a visit to Public to get a taste for myself. I hope you find these videos as inspiring and informative as I did.

Enjoy!
