E.A.T. Giveaway: Vintage Wagner Ware Cast Iron Pan
***Update: This giveaway has ended, find the lucky winner at the bottom of the post. Stay tuned for future giveaways right here at E.A.T.! ***

I am giving away one of my more popular vintage Wagner Ware cast iron pans just in time for the holidays! Full details below the dotted line (if you want to skip ahead).
To welcome the holiday season and to thank each of my readers, I am giving away one of my vintage Wagner Ware cast iron skillet pans. I have been selling these vintage cast iron pans in my BehindTheScreenDoor Etsy shop for 2 years now and they are among customer favorites without fail every time I find a new one. I forage all over for vintage, made in the U.S.A., cast iron pans. I season each pan myself and bring it back to life before it arrives at a new doorstep so they can go from box to oven, stove, or open flame.
This particular pan measures 6.5 inch, is considered a #3, and is a $42.00 value from my shop.
Be sure to come visit to find out the winner and good luck!

ReplyDeleteI have a coveted 12" Wagner given to my dad from the elderly lady next door who watched me after school. Dad got into a cornbread phase and she gifted him this awesome pan. It went into hiding for a while, but it found its way back to me. It's my favorite cooking vessel ever. I do anything from stir-fry to cornbread in it.
ReplyDeleteAh, the perfect vessel for my favorite holiday brunch: the frittata. Perfect to cook everything in and then throw in the oven for evenly cooked egg perfection. My favorite is simple: asparagus and goat cheese with simple classic seasonings.
ReplyDeleteCast iron makes everything yummy. Like fajitas!

The only thing I've ever made in a skillet is a fritatta, partially because the skillet wasn't mine. I'd love to attempt cornbread though, if I won this one: everyone keeps saying how they make it the best.

Fried chicken! I like to marinate my chicken for about a and half with buffalo ading sauce, fresh garlic, onions and seasonings. Then flour it and fry in a cast iron pan full og peanut oil and butter. Yum! Yum! What a good recipe.
ReplyDeleteOh, cornbread, definitely, although I use my grandmother's Wagner for just about everything except tomato-based dishes. I heat the pan as the oven heats, with some bacon grease in it--when I pour the batter in, that SIZZZZLE and snap and the smell of bacon makes my mouth start watering!
