Broccoli Cheddar Soup
As you have come to know from this blog I am always cooking or working on something new in the kitchen. I like to cook along with the change of seasons. Fortunately Hills and Heights allows me to write a monthly piece for them that syncs up with seasonality. My summer series was called the H&H Happy Hour where I was able to hone my drink-making skills. This was fun because it allowed for me to experiment with infusing different liquors with herbs straight from the E.A.T. garden.

My latest fall/winter series called H&H Saturday Soups and Stews has really just allowed me to capture things that I am doing in the kitchen this time of year. The latest creation for soups in the E.A.T kitchen was this broccoli and cheese soup. The bite of the extra sharp cheddar, using whole pieces of broccoli, and the hint of tarragon really made for a comforting seasonal dish.
If you haven't already visited this neighborhood news blog head on over to the soups and stews series on Hills and Heights to get this broccoli and cheese recipe. While there, take a look around as there really are some interesting things going on in my "hood".
