1. Figs & 2. Asparagus

1. I remember running around as a child at my grandparents house in the summertime. It was always a special treat pulling figs off of the tree. In the heat of the day, biting into a warm fig freshly picked is one of those simple edible pleasures everyone should experience. While I hope to plant a fig tree of our own next year, I procured a delicious handful at our local farmer's market this weekend.

2. The above video is also from a new web and print publication called Kinfolk Magazine. I got lost in the words, pictures and video from this new collaborative print project. I was so disappointed to learn the first edition limited print run is sold out.

Any suggestions on gaining access to a copy?
