DIY Composting Part II

On February 20th a DIY Composting Post was done on E.A.T.. Here we are a little over a month later and I am starting to see some good stuff happening.! As the days warm up moisture starts to collect in the can which continues to help the process. We continue to add natural kitchen scraps-still amazed at the amount of waste one can create in the kitchen.

The only maintenance required is turning the contents twice a week. Still not ready for prime time but working harder every day!

To compare the progress view "The Start" and then "One Month Later".

  1. I'm interested in seeing how this progresses. We plant a patio garden every year, and I've toyed with doing something similar.
