Sunday Supper: Clam Chowder and Ribs

This was actually Super Bowl XLV's Sunday Supper. There was a theme for this dinner; New England clam chowder since the Patriots did not make it (sorry Pat fans) and ribs since the game was being played in Dallas.

First the ribs which is actually Oprah Winfrey's favorite rib recipe named Quincy Jones' Thriller Ribs. I am often skeptical of celebrity recipes but this is definitely one not to shy away from! A note here is you must let the ribs marinate for the full two days to get the full effect of flavor.

The clam chowder was a simple recipe that has been put into my epicurious recipe box. Both wonderful comfort foods to be enjoyed together or by themselves.

Until next football season........
