Shopping Locally in Richmond, Virginia
Where did you support the local economy this weekend? Thanks goes out to the following businesses for my local purchases:
- Blanchard's locally roasted! Try the Dark as Dark-it's crack in a cup.
- Sullivan's Pond Farm home of Bonnyclabber Cheese. These eggs come from very happy chickens! I know, I have met them.
- Pizza Tonight RVA How much fun for the family if you were just to break up the work week and whip up your own creative pizza instead of *Gasp* dialing in that delivery stuff?
- All above available Saturday's at Souther the James Market on Forest Hill.

Thanks for the links. I'll pass these on to my brother who lives there.
ReplyDeleteTim,
ReplyDeleteGot my Blanchard's from Taza yesterday morning but I prefer the Ethiopian Yergachef (sp?) to the Dark as Dark personally. I find it more complex in the flavors but you know, personal preference. Second, where have I been these 12 years and I only now am finding out about Nick's thanks to you. I got a Tomato and Mozz sub that was the shiznit for lunch and stuffed grape leaves which were some of the best I've ever had...thanks for the suggestion!
WillyJake, Mary loves that tomato mozz! I go for the beef combo crazy flavors! Thanks for the positive feedback!
