Boom Boom Burgers

Those of you who follow my blog know this blog is not about restaurant reviews. It is about supporting local business, sourcing local products, eating locally, and eating well. When you visit Boom Boom Burgers in Shockoe Bottom you can put a check by all 4 reasons I write E.A.T. !

Grass Fed Beef from Polyface Farms Swoop, Virginia; Cheese from Mountain View Farm Products Fairfield, Virginia; Mushrooms from Dave and Dee's Homegrown Mushrooms Sedley, Virginia; Sweet Potatoes from Kirby Farms in Mechanicsville, Virginia; and Buns from Flour Garden Bakery Richmond, Virginia.

Boom Boom cooks the burgers medium to medium well (my personal preference is medium rare) and the sides are amazing! I was sold at the word local greens! So whether you are running around hitting up the 17th street farmers market, visiting a festival, looking for a new burger destination or clubbing late night in the bottom you gotta get your Boom-Boom on!

  1. This sounds great, I appreciate all the work that goes into something seemingly simple. The menu, though short, reaches most appetites. Brevity is the soul of wit. Break a leg!
