The Vegan Challenge Giveaway........

I wanted to find a way to thank everyone who supported me in my vegan challenge. I could not think of a better way than giving away some vegan goodies! You may remember my recent post on Mast Brothers chocolate. I was so excited eating my way through New York City last week that I did not forget to swing by and pick up a couple of chocolate bars directly from the source in Brooklyn.

The bar I will give away will be the Mast Brothers Dark Chocolate + Cocoa Nibs and one Bumble Bar (Original with Almond) which I also posted about here.

Chocolate bar ingredients:
  • 72% Cacao organically farmed in Madagascar. Roasted, cracked, winnowed, stone ground and aged in Brooklyn.
  • Sugar: Organic Cane Sugar
  • Cocoa Nibs: Organically grown, harvested, fermented, dried, roasted, chopped and winnowed cocoa beans.
We also picked up a Fleur De Sel and a Dominican Republic (all 3 vegan).

    My favorite dessert is Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae and if anyone can come up with a diabetic version of this I would be eternally grateful assuming, of course, that it tastes good.

    My favorite dessert: Tiramisu (mine, made with Amaretto), and dusted with Valrhona cocoa between layers, and a final dusting on top. I present it atop of a drizzle of Guittard Dark Chocolate sauce.

    Now that I've thought about it a bit more I'll have to change my answer to some dark chocolate cookies my Mom makes with grey sea salt...they're heavenly :)

    My favorite dessert is a nice chocolate eclair... There is a place called Avenue Events by the office I sometimes work out of and they make the most heavenly eclairs.

    Yay on the vegan challenge. I must say that the pumpkin cheesecake from fatfreevegan.com is the best dessert I've ever had! I barely get it cooked because I eat so much of the batter!
