Eating in 2011 a "Top Ten" list

  • Drinking more water.
  • Learning more about where my food comes from.
  • Concentrating more on our garden.
  • Composting.
  • Purchasing our food from as many local sources as we can.
  • Eat more seasonally.
  • Adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet.
  • Make a conscious decision to have less meat in my diet.
  • Adding more whole grains.
  • Spinach and arugula will again be in the garden this spring.
And finally, I will start the first 12 days of 2011 doing a vegan diet. I will document my weight, vitals, obstacles, and challenges this may bring. I do vow to not go hungry and with the picture above who would have thought I could have buffalo wings, pizza, and hamburgers? All I can say is we shall see.

Happy New Year to all and thank you for your support in reading and following this blog. All the best in 2011!
