I Hate Tomatoes

The red variety sliced up on a sandwich that is. I also do not know who in the office today brought in green tomatoes but I Love Fried Green Tomatoes!

Dip slices in egg wash, dip in flour, dip in egg wash, dredge in Panko bread crumbs. Fry in olive oil until brown. Sprinkle with sea salt, parmesan, and pepper. A little balsamic vinegar on the side is optional. Late summer green tomatoes are all that! Now get out and pick you some!

  1. I am not a big fan of tomatoes, but I'll try anything fried! I think my favorite veggie fried would be artichokes.

  3. I hate raw tomatoes, no matter the color. Except I had pickled green tomatoes at Lemaire and drooled over them. However, I adore making sauce from tomatoes! Tangerine, Cherokee, Hanover, Brandywine. I have this nifty peeler-deseeder; so, I scarf up tomatoes and freeze a variety of sauces for the winter. In the end, tomatoes are my friend.
