Bee keeping and rooftop gardens NYC style

Bee keeping in the city is something I have always been intrigued with. Low and behold I am looking outside of our hotel room and see someone tending to their hive with Manhattan in the background!

Raising honey bees has become quite an art form and it is equally impressive to see the Marriott in Chicago sourcing and serving 95% of their ingredients locally! An interesting read is from the Marriott Chicago Kitchen where bees and rooftop gardens are being done right in downtown Chicago!
