Farm to Family Bus Richmond Virginia

Who would think that in all of the places in the world this could happen it would happen in Richmond Virginia first? Well Mark Lilly the founder of the Farm to Family bus did. Mark loads up fresh veggies, milk, cheese, yogurt, and meats direct from local farms daily and roams the streets of Richmond looking for a spot to park his 1987 International Diesel school bus and bring the grocery store to us. Not really targeting farmers markets perse but targeting areas where fresh food is a tougher option for folks to get to. Our closest stop is on Friday afternoon Westover Hills Boulevard and Forest Hill avenue.

For more pictures of Mark, his bus, and his amazing fresh grocery concept click the collage above. Please make a plan to visit Mark at various locations throughout Richmond and as he puts it "Get on the bus Gus"!
